Targus Laser Pen Stylus Review
Our look at a rather handy three-on-one pen, touch-screen stylus and laser pointer from Targus
What is the Laser Pen Stylus?
This is one of those handy little devices that's worth keeping with you on business trips, lectures, or customer meetings. It's a stylish blank-and-silver pen, with a few surprises.
The lid of the pen is a soft stylus designed for use on a touchscreen, such as an Android tablet, iPhone or iPad. It does a decent job of acting like a finger, meaning that you don't smudge your lovely clean touchscreen with your grubby mits.
The pen itself is a medium black ballpoint that writes pretty well, and as a pen, it's a comfy hold. It comes with a refill, but if you need to order a replacement, it's a D1 refill, apparently.
The laser pointer is pretty effective - it's a red pointer, powered by three LR41/L736 alkaline cell batteries. It's a Class 2 laser product, so be careful where you shine it
Although it comes with a 44 page manual - there are only three pages per language, and one button to press.
The Targus Laser Pen Stylus is made in Taiwan, and is model number AMM04EU. It's supplied with a spare refill and three batteries

We're also fans of the Pulse Smart Pen, an amazingly-clever piece of technology that records what you write and say electronically, converting handwriting to editable text and letting you play back what you heard when you were writing notes. Fiendishly clever stuff!
