FrequencyCast – UK Tech Radio Show
The online radio show covering UK digital TV and technology
I haven’t GOT iTunes (I get your feed through Juice) so I can’t hop over there and give you a good review, but I just wanted to say I really enjoy the podcast and look forward to it every month!
“to much boring funny stuff”
I’ll join you in that toast, Sir or Madam. To much boring funny stuff!
Cheers! (hic)
Hey, I’ve just caught up with frequencycast and I think it’s head and shoulders better than most UK technology podcasts. It’s probably just a iTunes troll with nothing better to do. Keep the boring funny stuff coming …
I’ve listened to quite a few techy podcasts over the past few years, and most of them are far too anorachy. Frequency Cast has a happy medium between tech info and entertainment. The presentation in my opinion has an air of professionalism, rather than two guys randomly talking about stuff they Googled on the net. Too many podcasts are poorly planned, with far too many er’s, and pauses, and obvious passing of microphones between the contributors.
Frequency Cast, has had a professional sound from day one, and the “Frequency Cast, now loading” voice over is excellent.
The content is not hi-tech, but that is not the idea. The premise of the show is to provide an overview of what technical stuff is out there, whether it is any good, how much it costs and whether it is worth getting.
There are no adverts, which amazes me, as such a good production surely costs some money to put together.
If you want to know more about Digital TV, the internet, DAB or Wifi Radio, mobile phones or anything else techy, and are too afraid to ask the likes of DLTV, then Frequency Cast is the place. Send them an email, or phone their Podline, and I am sure they will do their best to answer your queries.
Keep up the good work guys.
