The eighth Frequencycast podcast has just gone online. This latest show features the following:

  • Top Up TV – Delays of two months reported on the new ‘Anytime’ box angers customers.
  • Sky Digital – Sky’s snatched the distrubution rights for Series 3 of the hit show ‘Lost’ from Channel 4, and the new series starts on Sky One in November 2006 – we also look at details of their latest offer to new subscribers
  • Voice over Internet: A look at making voice and video calls over the Internet, to make some serious savings. We look at MSN, Skype, BT Broadband Talk and Vonage
  • Verballs – Carl and Pete’s top tech gadget for Christmas 2006… this is a crazy, chatty, clever little desktop critter that’s also a Skype speakerphone. We “interview” one for the show.
  • Pete and Carl also answer questions from our listeners on topics such as: HomePlugs, TopUp, DigiGuide, Five US, TV remotes, anti-virus, DAB, Telewest and more.
