Posted on 15 July 2010 By FrequencyCast No Comments on iPhone OS 4.01 upgrade released

Apple has just released a new version of operating system for the iPhone – iOs 4.01 is now available for download via iTunes

The 580 megabyte download includes bug fixes and improvements, most notably: “iOs 4.01 Improves the formula to determine how many bars of signal strength to display”.

The new OS appears to have increased the size of the signal strength bars, and in part addresses the “Death Grip” issue with reception, which will be formally addressed by Apple at a press conference tomorrow.

iOs 4.01 is available now for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4
